Emergency Dentist Sanctuary Cove

Found yourself in a dental emergency? It’s best to act quickly to avoid further damage.

At Sanctuary Cove Dental we understand that accidents happen. It’s our main goal to help all of our patients maintain their healthy and natural smile, so if you’ve been involved in a dental emergency, we strongly urge you to act quickly.

Receiving immediate dental attention following an accident or injury can mean the difference between preserving the natural state of your smile, and requiring further extensive or expensive treatment.

Chipped or broken tooth?

A dental crown procedure is a relatively simple and effective fix to repair broken or chipped teeth. If you’ve chipped or cracked your teeth, a modern dental crown procedure can help repair and rejuvenate your smile.

If you have a persisting toothache, there is a good chance the pain is fronting a more extensive issue. Persisting toothaches should be treated seriously, and sufferers should seek dental consult to diagnose the cause of the issue.

Lost your tooth?

If you’ve completely knocked out or lost your tooth, there is no time to spare. Making it to the dentist or a medical professional within half hour gives you an opportunity to save your natural smile.

If you still have the tooth, it should be held by the crown and not the root. After gently rinsing with water or milk you can try to gently place the tooth back in the socket. If not possible, place the tooth into a small container of milk and race to the dentist or a medical professional.

To Note: Any dental procedure carries risks which also may depend on your general health. This will be discussed with you prior to any dental intervention.

Before proceeding you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner such as your dentist or your doctor.
